Half-Way-Tree, the St Andrew capital, has now become the favourite place for a number of Jamaicans to celebrate with their countrymen the successes of our athletes. On Saturday night there were deafening screams in the town square as Elaine Thompson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce struck gold and bronze respectively, in the 100m finals at the Rio Olympics.
