Motorists look on as this tractor clears the road at Flat Grass, Portland, after it was blocked Wednesday during a protest over the poor state of the road. The protest by public transport operators affected students on their way to Happy Grove High, Seaside Primary and Manchioneal All-Age schools. A visit by Member of Parliament Dr Lynvale Bloomfield did not change much as the protestors were adamant that they would continue blocking the road if nothing tangible was done.
