JAMAICA Observer online readers have poured scorn on complaints from the Chinese community in Jamaica about racism, crime and a sense of discomfort, which have pushed a handful of them to lock shop and leave the island. The readers argued that the presence of the Chinese in Jamaica was always meant to be temporary as they are using the island as a bridge to settle in North America.
