University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech) Chancellor Edward Seaga (right) welcomed Professor Stephen Vasciannie (second left), the new UTech president, last Friday. Vascianne was paying a courtesy call on Seaga at his office at the University of the West Indies, Mona. Also photographed are Michael McAnuff- Jones, deputy chairman of council, and Dr Elaine Wallace, university registrar. Vasciannie took up office as president of UTech on January 3, 2017. His courtesy call on Seaga was part of a series of on-boarding activities to introduce him to the university’s internal and external stakeholders.
