‘Love Me to Live Not to Death’ was the theme for the Women’s Resource and Outreach Centre upliftment initiative hosted yesterday — Valentine’s Day — at the establishment located on Beechwood Avenue, St Andrew. Kandice Davidson (centre), a former participant in the centre’s programme, smiles in approval as her fivemonth- old daughter, Amayah, is presented with chocolates by Rochelle Cameron, vice-president, legal and regulatory at FLOW, as Novelette Grant, acting commissioner of police shares in the moment. The telecommunications firm joined LASCO, Island Grill and members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force to fete several of the women who have benefited from the centre’s work.
