KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA)  said it will be renewing its efforts to have the government rethink its position on the implementation of the reformed Pensions Act that will see teachers, come April 1, 2017 contributing five per cent of their salaries towards their pension.
