Michelle Welch-Martin (left), marketing manager of Diamond Paint, presents a cheque for $50,000 to Sheryl Muir of the Association of Businesspersons (AOB), a charity with interest in the affairs of the homeless. The money will go towards the National Empowerment Shelter Transformation project, which is building a home for the homeless. The presentation was made yesterday at the paint company’s offices on Waltham Park Road in Kingston. AOB is the operational arm in Jamaica for New-York based Unite Jamaica People.
