Danah Cameron, group public relations and training officer at Jamaica Broilers Group, presents a symbolic cheque for $300,000 to Canon Hartley Perrin (centre), chairman of the Clifton Boys’ Home, yesterday, while P J Patterson, former prime minister and Member of Parliament for Westmoreland Eastern looks on. The presentation took place at Heis Consults, in the R Danny Williams Building, New Kingston. The funds donated by the Jamaica Broilers Group will go towards the rebuilding of the Clifton Boys’ Home in Darliston, Westmoreland, which has been destroyed by fire in January. Since then the boys have been housed at the Assemblies of Holiness Church in the adjoining district of Caledonia. Efforts continue to source funds to rebuild the Anglican boys’ home.
