An elderly woman who was arrested for slapping a fellow vendor in her face during a dispute over $6,000, claimed she was defending herself.Phylicia Cole, 74, of Denham Town in Kingston was arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm following a dispute with a 36-year-old female vendor at the Coronation Market in downtown Kingston on March 1.
