It appears that the RIU hotel did not carry out adequate background checks on 24-year-old Demar Scott, the entertainment coordinator now arrested for raping two guests at gunpoint at its Montego Bay resort. Scott is alleged to have committed the crimes two days after he was employed to RIU.
