Justice Minister Mark Golding engaged Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn in conversation prior to the start of the Mutual Legal Assistance and Financial Crimes Unit seminar at the Pegasus Hotel on Wednesday last week. Also pictured at right is senior prosecutor Maxine Johnson, who heads the unit and acting Deputy Director of Public Prosecution Sanchia-Gay Burrell. During the public segment of the seminar, Llewellyn, QC, lauded the recent passage of the Anti-Lottery Scam Bill. She said the legislation would strengthen law enforcement's fight against the lotto scam, which has hurt Jamaica's image in the international sphere. The seminar was hosted by the ODPP in collaboration with the British High Commission and the Financial Investigations Division. (Photo: Bryan Cummings)
