PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC) – The Trinidad and Tobago government says it has not sought to downplay the importance of the Jamaica market amid threats from Kingston that it would withdraw the Air Jamaica brand from the Trinidad-based Caribbean Airlines (CAL) following widespread reports there that the carrier would be reducing the number of daily flight to Jamaica.
