Jamaica Observer online readers have reacted with dismay at yesterday's front page story about the brutal murder of 93-year-old Lauriston McLarty at his home on Gilmore Drive, St Andrew, between Monday night and early Tuesday morning. Police theorise that burglars used a hassock to suffocate McLarty, who was found with his hands and feet bound. Here are some edited comments:
