Children from St. Jude's Primary School in Kingston got a break from academic activities as employees of the National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) shared the magical world of storytelling with them for 2013 'Read Across Jamaica Day'. The students, who were from grades 3 to 6, spent a few hours listening to intriguing tales written by regional and international authors and read by staff volunteers from NCB as part of the bank's 'Love for Reading' Programme. Here, students watch as Sonji Cummings, NCB's Benefits Service Delivery representative dramatically illustrates a character from a book she is reading to them as part of the bank's activities for Read Across Jamaica Day.
