Mayor says close to 300,000 living in Portmore, not 182,000
MAYOR George Lee says the Statistical Institute of Jamaica’s (STATIN) claim that only 182,000 persons are currently living in Portmore is wrong. As such, the municipality’s council is now compiling evidence that will refute the census.
