JAMAICA Observer online reader say the Government is to be blamed for the current hardship the Jamaica Urban Transit Company faces in finding funds to pay toll fees to use Highway 2000, which has been worsened by increases that became effective on Saturday . In an article yesterday, JUTC Chairman Rev Garnet Roper says the bus company now faces a monthly toll bill of $11.5 million, or approximately $138 million annually, for its buses to use the Portmore leg of the highway.
