FINANCE Minister Dr Peter Phillips has come in for harsh criticisms from Jamaica Observer online readers over claims that the Opposition Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) derailed economic progress made by his People's National Party (PNP) when the JLP formed the Government in 2007. Addressing a meeting of the PNP's Central St James constituency Sunday night, Phillips told supporters that "the four years of the Jamaica Labour Party set us back in the worst way that you can imagine".
