THE Police High Command yesterday distanced itself from comments attributed to rank and file members of the Constabulary in a news report intimating that some cops have taken a hands-off approach to engaging criminals following a court ruling giving Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) officials the power to arrest members of the security forces involved in questionable shootings.
