NWU General Secretary accused of stealing union dues
KINGSTON, Jamaica — General Secretary of the National Workers Union (NWU), Granville Valentine, failed to respond today to a case alleging misuse of just over $15,000 contract drivers employed to haulage companies on Port Bustamante claimed they paid him as union dues in 2009.
