JAMAICA Observer online readers are outraged by the killing of three men and the injury of two others in a community called 'Russia' in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, on Tuesday night. They are even more incensed by the reaction of Member of Parliament Roger Clarke, in whose Central Westmoreland constituency the killings occurred. In the Observer story yesterday, Clarke said he was appalled by the spike in murders in the parish and that he had spoken to his colleague, National Security Minister Peter Bunting who assured him that measures would be put in place to stem the upsurge of crime in the western parish.
