Jamaica Observer vendor Yvette Allen displays the popular Observer Christmas Cookbook yesterday at the busy Washington Boulevard/Molynes Road intersection in Kingston. Allen, along with other Observer vendors across the island enjoyed brisk sales, with the majority reporting that their supplies of the newspaper were sold out. The Observer Circulation Department was busy replenishing stock in most areas as consumers, who look forward to the publication each year, secured their copies. Inset shows a motorist making a purchase from Allen. In addition to the Christmas Cookbook, the Observer pioneered the publication of Easter and Summer cookbooks. (PHOTOS: BRYAN CUMMINGSS)
