Newly appointed director general of the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority (JCAA) Leroy Lindsay (right) greets the organisation's deputy director general for regulatory affairs, Nari Willams-Singh, at last Saturday's church service at the North Street Seventh-day Adventist Church to celebrate International Civil Aviation Day. International Civil Aviation Day is commemorated yearly on December 7 to recognise the role aviation plays in providing connectivity for people, goods and services across nations, and in integrating the global economy, while promoting solidarity, goodwill and cooperation among nations. The theme for this year's celebration was "Evolving to meet the challenges of 21st century Air Transport".
