The police hunt trickster

The Spanish Town police are searching for a male who reportedly tricked several children out of their lunch money over several days earlier this week.
It is reported that between Monday and Thursday, the hoodlum managed to con five students out of their lunch money.
On one occasion, he reportedly convinced one of his victims by telling the child his mother's name.
He took $500 from the 10-year-old and told him to accompany him to a shopping centre after taking his school bag.
The hoodlum went inside the shopping centre, dropped the bag and disappeared.
While looking for his bag, the victim was told by another child that the man did a similar thing to him.
A report was made to the police and a search was launched, but he was not found.
"We are in receipt of reports from students and their parents about the criminal acts by this man. We are searching for him, but he is very slippery and hard to catch," an investigator said.
Meanwhile, the police said the man started his cons against students about a month ago, but he has since stepped up his criminal act.
The Star was told that a special preparation is now being planned to tackle the problem in the education ministry.
