Well known lawyer accused of fleecing clients

RJR News understands that detectives from the Fraud Squad are investigating allegations against a well known Kingston-based attorney-at-law who is accused of stealing more than $20 million from his clients.
Detectives have been questioning the attorney in the presence of his lawyer over the past two weeks and according to our sources charges could be laid soon.
It is understood that the money was part of a land development deal which collapsed.
The complainants, who are based overseas, made a report to the Fraud Squad two months ago after the attorney reportedly failed to refund them the US$230,000 or $20 million.
Investigators at the Fraud Squad are tight-lipped about the investigation.
