Sean Paul to perform for Pope
Multi-platinum dancehall artiste Sean Paul will join British singer Natasha Bedingfield in performance at the Rally for Moral Action on Climate Justice at the National Mall in Washington DC today.
The event, which will feature several government officials, religious leaders such as Reverend Pedro Jimeno Barreto and Archbishop of Huancayo, Dolores Huerta, climate justice activists Moby, Rev William Barber, and an all-star line-up of musicians, aims to encourage leaders to take a stance for climate justice.
Pope Francis will also be lending his support to this historic event and is expected to speak at the rally. The Rally for Moral Action on Climate Justice is part of the activities to mark the Pope's first visit to the United States.

In addition to the performance, Sean Paul also collaborated with Toby Gad, John Shanks and Bedingfield to co-write Love Song To The Earth, a single to combat climate change. The song also features other acts like Leona Lewis, Jon Bon Jovi and Paul McCartney.
"I thought it was a great cause in helping people to be aware of the environment and for charity so I did it right away. I am all for the environment. Every day I take pictures of the sun because I like nature a lot. I didn't know who else was featured on the song. Toby played a couple parts of the chorus for me and I just did my thing. I really liked it, was cool and every time I hear the song it gives me goose bumps. I think it is a good song," Sean Paul said.
