An American visitor was shot and injured in Montego Bay, St James Sunday night.
It's reported that about 9:15pm, the man was walking with a woman along Gloucester Avenue when a car drove up.
Two men exited the vehicle and held them up at gunpoint.
They were robbed of cash, cellular phones and other valuables.
While the gunmen were leaving, they fired shots hitting the man.
He was taken to hospital by a motorist.
The police say his injuries are not considered life threatening.
Investigators say they will be viewing footage from closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras where the attack took place.
