FALMOUTH, Trelawny — A popular Falmouth medical practitioner, and a Trelawny woman are booked to appear before the Falmouth Resident Magistrate’s Court on February 24 for illegally terminating the pregnancy of a 13-year-old student last year.
The police say the 44-year-old doctor has been charged with procuring abortion; procuring drug for abortion; child endangerment; being an assessory after the fact; and failing to report a crime.
Meantime, the 36-year-old woman of Hampden Land, Trelawny, whose son allegedly impregnated the minor, has been slapped with similiar charges as the medic.
