He's charged with the most heinous of crimes, but a Portuguese male model came to court Tuesday looking like he was heading out for a night on the town.
Accused castration killer Renato Seabra wore a skintight designer V-neck shirt that showed off his pecs and biceps - and white pants that would be a no-no after Labor Day.
The 21-year-old said nothing as his lawyer laid out what is expected to be an insanity defense for the alleged sexual mutilation of a famed 65-year-old gay journalist.
Carlos Castro had traveled to New York with Seabra for New Year's. On Jan. 7, the two got into a fight in their hotel room in the InterContinental in the Times Square area, cops said.
It ended with Seabra stabbing Castro with a corkscrew in his face and groin, slamming a computer monitor on his head and brutally stomping his face, cops said.
Seabra's lawyer David Touger gave a Manhattan judge and prosecutors a psychiatric evaluation yesterday. Its details were not disclosed.
Touger said only that Seabra suffered a "manic episode." He will be back in court next week when prosecutors tell the judge what doctor they've picked to do their own evaluation of Seabra. The lawyer said cops illegally obtained a confession from Seabra, who police sources said had claimed he was trying to "cure" Castro of his homosexuality.
