<span style="font-weight: bold">Indian nationals arrested for uncustomed goods </span>
Between Tuesday, July 26, and Saturday, July 30, members of the Flying Squad and a group from the Contraband Enforcement Team at the Jamaica Customs carried out several operations in the Area One Police Division, which resulted in them seizing more than 390 cartons of assorted cigarettes.
The Area One Police Division includes the parishes of Westmoreland, Hanover, St James and Trelawny.
Two Indian nationals were also arrested and charged for uncustomed goods. They are 26-year-old Anoop Bachwani of a Negril, Westmoreland, address and 25-year-old Harish Sayani of Ironshore in Montego Bay, St James.
Several other items were also seized at a company at the Montego Bay Free Zone in St James, among them were <span style="font-weight: bold">camouflage raincoats, combat shirts, gun holsters, combat knives, magazine holsters, speed loaders and glock training barrels.</span>
