Processing of Olympic visas to begin in January
Starting on January 1, 2012, British High Commissions will begin processing visitor visas for those going to the United Kingdom to watch the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London.
Visitors going to London for the games will be allowed to stay in the UK for upward of six months.
The London 2012 summer Olympic Games will be held from July 27 to August 12.
This will be London's third hosting of the games, having also done so in 1948 and 1908.
