Woman shot on busy avenue in Montego Bay

WESTERN BUREAU: A woman was shot and injured on Leader's Avenue in the city of Montego Bay this afternoon.
The woman was rushed to hospital shortly after being attacked. She is currently in intensive care.
Police are currently processing the scene and have cordoned off the street. A small crowd gathered to survey the scene, which included belongings, including a handbag and an unfinished bottle of soda lying on the pavement.
Information reaching The Gleaner is that she was shot three times. She is believed to be in her late 40s or early 50s.
