Even though 38-year-old Craig Junioris still clinging to his 52-year-old partner, who is going through menopause, that didn't prevent him from starting a new relationship with a much younger woman.
Determined to not sever ties with his rural 'cougar', Junior decided to meet a younger girl to really see if he could impregnate a woman. So in 2010, he met Sharie Blake, 19, in Kingston, after he went into her community to do some business, and she later consented to being the girl 'on the side'. Junior and his younger girlfriend are now at odds over a five-month-old baby girl.
She said: Firstly, when I met him I wasn't seeing anyone else and he told me that him just break up with his much older girlfriend, who lives in the country. It turned out that he had her on the side and he was even seeing older girls.
He said: Yes, I have an older female friend but we have certain business ties that I told Blake about. She broke the contract because she knew that I had an older woman. I told her that she don't need to worry because that woman is 52 years old and she reach menopause and me soon resolve everything."
Junior also reasoned that they had a good relationship from the start because he was like a lover, a father and a teacher to Blake.
She said: The relationship had a lot of problems because he had no respect for me and there was infidelity. He gave me infections more than one time, even during the pregnancy. I had vaginal warts. When I met him there was nothing at his apartment for other women, but then I started to see female clothes, make-up and other stuff.
He said: She was the one who cheated and broke the contract because I realised that she wasn't talking the truth, and she was being dishonest in the relationship. She admitted that she cheated and she told me that she did it because I wasn't treating her right. She said that she is not sure if she had unprotected sex with the new guy.
She said: On Valentine's Day 2011, I was planning a big surprise for him by buying him gifts, but I gave them away because he didn't show up. I had sex with someone else on Valentine's Day. I eventually found out that he was in the country with his older woman.
He said: She cheated more than one time with this guy. When I asked her about it I realise that there were certain inconsistencies in her stories, her behaviour changed. I remember one night I called her father and he confirmed that she did sleep out.
She Said: The only thing is that he supported me right through the pregnancy, but after the birth of the baby he gave me absolutely nothing. It is just my father who is helping me right now.
He said: Initially, she had refused to go ahead with the DNA test idea saying that the child is mine, but I tell myself that I don't want to be a part of the statistics. In addition, I have plans to migrate, so I really want to know if the child is mine. I don't know who the child looks like.
She said: If the child is his child then I am not going back in a relationship with him, but if it is not his child then so be it.
He said: If the child is mine then I can catch up, but she would have to put the child in my name because presently the child is in her name. But if the child is not mine then I will still be a supportive friend. In terms of a relationship she has potential.
MORE DOUBTS!
The couple says that they really want the DNA test because since they met, they have never used a condom and it was right around the time that Blake cheated that she became pregnant.Junior also revealed to THE STAR that he personally have doubts about impregnating a woman because attempts to do so in two previous relationships were futile.
