Lotto scammer cons pastor out of $US 90,000
Investigators are preparing to interrogate another major player in the lottery scam who they have taken into custody.
The suspect was picked up yesterday in Fraser, St. Ann by members of the Lottery Scam Task Force.
He is said to be a deportee from the United States who recently returned to Jamaica after serving time in prison for fraud related charges.
Head of the Lottery Scam Task Force, Superintendent Leon Clunis, says the man fleeced a pastor in the United States of more than ninety thousand US dollars.
It's alleged that the man convinced the pastor that he converted to Christianity while in prison but was facing financial problems.
