So far, I know you have to turn on the PM feature. The default is set to not receive PMs.

finally figured out how to fix that. at this point, i'd like to know how to post images and video, and, like Tulip, how to see a version of "Active Topics". Activity stream comes up funny for me (avatars and text running over each other).
