I'm away and got free tickets to go see Rock of Ages. Anyone else see it? This was the description.
I knew it would not be a religious show based on the hymn Rock of Ages but I was expecting rock n roll classics. There was going to be a reception with the cast afterwards.
The show started with music so loud I had to put in earplugs...LOUD heavy metal music. A black guy came out oggled a white woman and ran his hand on his crotches.
Then a white guy came out with a club with a whip holding it near his crotchesand started doing vulgar moves towards a member of the audience. Another one came out with a plunger and started running his hands up and down it like im was ...nevah mind.
This was in the first 5 minutes.
Then there were the gestures showing boobs...the girl bending over. 10 minutes into it I was trying to figure out how to get out of there. Then one of the guys dropped his pants....yup walking with his pants around his ankles....
and I was out of there. How much crotch grabbing can one show have in one night?
Definitely not my cup of tea. I lasted 15 minutes.
What filth!
I guess the society is in the cess pool and that is all there is to it.
It will be lights out by 10:30 for me tonight....just as soon as I finish my mint tea and scones.
Curious, who else would have walked out?
