This episode was good. It’s about time.

1. Sookie is a bad a** b. Fairies can really come through in a crisis, but her outfit looked like it came from The Dollar General Store.

2. Hoyt needs to be on suicide watch. If he finds out about Jason and Jessica, he’s going to the nut house.

3. I can’t see choosing Bill over Eric, but I never did really like Bill too much.

4. Alcide is a good man or werewolf or whatever, and he is soooo fine!

5. Sad scene, but I cannot say I am unhappy to see Tommy go.

6. I enjoyed the interaction between Andy and Terry at Fort Bellefleur lol.

7. Debbie is one sorry, common slut. I can’t believe she’s going to sleep with greasy head Marcus.

8. I hated Marney straight out the gate. She is not well adjusted. Tara and what’s her name fooling around with incantations and spells when they really just need to cut her head off, stake her, or shoot her. There are enough of them locked in there to take Marney out.

9. I feel like running on the set with some clippers for Lafayette. Let the mohawk and beads hit the ground please.

10. I don’t ever want 4 vamps dressed in black after me with what appears to be a flamethrower.

Much more to talk about this week...

I enjoyed the episode while agreeing with many of the criticisms. There are so many great ideas with potential but I think the writers are just going to drop them. Where's the follow-up and continuity in this series.

- Eric is still not back to himself even though the spell is broken. The book version of his affair with Sookie was romantic and humorous. What did Alan Ball do with all the funny? I don't mind veering away from the books when it adds something (e.g. Godric, Jessica, Lafayette), but the "love story" has not been a change for the better - so far.

- After Sookie broke the spell on Eric, why not try to find out if she can break any of Antonia's other spells? Surely Bill has tons of resources to hand who could do some research while he and the other vamps are wrapped in silver.

- I was hoping to see more character development in Jason by resisting his attraction to Jessica.

- Jessica (my girl ) said that Jason is just as bad as Mrs. Fortenberry in babying Hoyt. Good point but will it be left at that?

- Speaking of no character growth, Tara's still angry. What a surprise.

- So Tommy was on a redemptive arc, but sold Mrs. Fortenberry's house & land out from under her. I wonder how that's going to pan out for her? I actually enjoyed the Mickens' story but don't feel like anything came out of it - other than Sam admitting to not knowing how to be a better brother. Oh yeah, and Sam is going to show the werewolves that he is a force to be reckoned with. We already knew both those things though.

- So meek mousie Marnie is a vindictive b/witch reveling in Antonia's power? That doesn't surprise me. Would like to see how she got there plus her story would have been more relevant to the season than Hot Shot especially since Jason isn't showing any real growth.

- Love Terry as a character; his backstory about being the golden boy in the Bellefleur family was fascinating. And Andy was abandoned by his mother? Why has it taken us four whole seasons to find this out?

Hi BlackStar! Yeah, it appears we were posting at the same time lol. You know that means this was a good one.

Jason needs a good backhand this time. Some things you just don't do. I know her blood influenced him and the fact that she is very attractive, but he did not have to do his friend like that.

Sam has a temper. Between him and Alcide, Marcus is toast one way or the other. I don't expect him to make it to Season 5.

I never thought of Eric and Pam as having anything but maker/vamp feelings, but it's starting to seem more like a pseudo-relationship. Pam seems all shades of jealous of his feelings for Sookie. Maybe it's just her dislike and disrespect for humans showing.

I agree that Sookie should have tried to see what else she could mash up of Marney's. I know Pam must have wanted to ask Sookie to break the rotting flesh spell, but she was too stubborn to ask so let her keep taking her injections.

They like running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I don't believe I have seen a solid plan before action executed since they took out Maryann.

1. Charlaine Harris always goes into great detail about Sookie's outfits in the books. Let's say her everyday style is Walmart and she goes to JCPenney for dressier clothes.

2. I'm kind of indifferent to Hoyt for some reason. He was at his best when he put Maxine in her place. I preferred him on the sidelines like in season 1 though.

3. Eric has lost all his swagger this season. Bored now...
4. I reckon Alan Ball is gearing up the werewolf story for season 5. I'll be looking forward to a lot more Alcide.

5. Tommy's death scene left me with mixed feelings. It was too long, but I think it is setting things up for Sam and the werewolves.

6. I've always liked Terry.

7. Debbie and Alcide need to split up. Other than being werewolves they have nothing in common and are not striving for the same things in life. She cheats on him so regularly - first Cooter, now Marcus - I have to wonder what's holding her back. Plus she's ready to give up on him after one week of &quot;inattention&quot; after he took her drug-addicted, cheating self back and presumably has been very good to her for a year (the time Sookie was in the land of the faes). SMH

8. I disliked Marnie too when she was trying to raise those damn animals from death.

9. Lafayette's hair and costumes have been outrageously ugly this season. Me no likey.
OTOH, Bill has been looking much better than before.

10. All four of them looked sexy and scary. I couldn't help but think of Jessica saying, &quot;I don't care what happens as long as I get to kill ish.&quot;

1. Pork rind casserole? I feel ill.

2. Marney is a pain in my [censored]hole. They need to pour rock salt on her bones and burn them. I was so relieved when Bill killed her and then immediately disgusted when her spirit possessed Lafayette that I was too outdone to even comment on last week’s episode.

3. Jesus get dropped off the show just so? Wow! Was that really necessary?

4. Everybody is having one bad All Hallows Eve except red riding hood, Andy, and Emma.

5. Gran had enough of that foolishness. She reached right in and snatched Marney out.

6. In Pam’s defense, Sookie does have an unbelievably stupid name.

7. Get out! The rev is a vamp now. Wonder who turned him.

8. Stop all that screaming and get Bill or Eric over there to give Tara some vamp blood so she can be saved like everybody else who has been within an inch of life. If she can’t drink it then drip it on that hole in her scalp.

I will never be able to watch the Thriller scene again without bursting into laughter. They are one red leather jacket away from tears.

I guess Pam is going to be a serious problem next season.

As much as I find Alcide attractive, I just couldn't be bothered with no werewolves. I'd take my chances with Eric for however long it lasts; let me enjoy the ride.

Tara isn't going anywhere. They don't have but two black main characters on the show. As many times as folks have been on the brink of death, I don't see how Bill or Eric won't run to Sookie's distress call for her.

Now, that being said, I have never cared for Tara's character too much. She's beady eyed, but I can tolerate her.

You know what? All of Bon Temps and wherever those panther people are too needs some help of the psychiatric kind - each and every one of them including the supernats. Go pick up who they need out of Shreveport as well. Since I actually do know some people from Shreveport, it couldn't hurt to lump the whole lot of them in too.

BlackStar, you happy about the idea of being rid of Tara?
