Last night's episode was excellent! Everyone's story got equal play with little focus on Spartacus - plenty action and scheming going on.

When Ashur took that cuff off Seppius' corpse, I thought it might be leverage against Glaber. Now it looks like he's just collecting booty. And there's nothing to stop Lucretia from digging it out to show Seppia - so many possibilities.

Gannicus is a real bad man though despite his pretty face. I can't believe he stabbed one of Ashur's worst henchmen with a <span style="font-weight: bold">wooden</span> sword. I wonder what he's going to do with Ilythia?

ETA: Crixius was looking pretty good in his very short shorts. The cameraman give us some nice side views.

He always had a twinkle in his eye that made me &quot;like&quot; him despite myself. The show hasn't yet portrayed Glaber's humanity - unlike other villains such as Batiatus, Ashur, etc., so he still leaves me a bit cold

Now we'll see if Seppia is a &quot;big woman&quot; or still a little girl. BTW, the scenes with her and Glaber are disturbing because she looks so young (under 18 anyway). If only for that, she should be gone!

The episode really highlights how different Crixus and Spartacus are. Crixus was not letting Lucretia have his child; OTOH, Spartacus changed his tune when Illythia said he was the father. In reality, she probably has no idea who the baby daddy is. LOL

It looks like Naevia's libido is reviving as she learns how to defend herself.

Ashur is interesting because of all the slaves, he is willing to sink to the lowest depths to be free. Also, he is the only one shown to aspire to take the place of the dominus. I really pity him while at the same time finding him absolutely loathsome.

me too but know either he is going to kill glaber or glaber going to kill him


I thought it noble of spartacus to really think glaber was going to meet him sans killers to save his wife --- Sparatacus would have done that if he was in the same position - some sense of humanity considering he spared Ilythia's life..

U think Ilythia going to be the undoing?

Me a wondah if dem gwine end the season wid IIythia giving birth and glaber looking at the baby and knowing it belongs to Spartatcus.

If yuh membah, in the last episode Spartacus said something to glaber about 'you will look in your son's eyes and see me/my....sumting sumting'

Yeah man, him gwine know but haffi keep up the facade cause him want money and position.
