I can do some research on the Hotel thing once I get back from JA!


As for the shows, we will probably not know much until closer to July.

As I said in this thread or tdude's trip report, there is a good restaurant called Montego Bay that we could meet up at...

Since you are doing this over a couple days, you may also be able to get an author to plan a book launch / local bookstore or in the park... maybe even get a couple copies signed and donated...

Xavier may even have some banners and giveaways as well.

Check with Pepper and Ensome and Country for some of the things they have done for bashment activities

Dude, I say I fly into Seattle the weekend before, Ochi-family and I tailgate to the Dude Farm, camp out a couple nights then head south to Portland...

We will most likely head to Portland the 3rd or 4th...probably the 4th early in the day...to get there in plenty of time. Head home on Sunday the 6th.

Last time meaning Last Year? NO..never been to the Blues Festival in Portland. Went to the Jazz FEstival last month in Portland though...it was great!

As for Camping...the Festival is all weekend long...so unless we can get time off during the week either before or after the festival...most we will probably be able to squeeze out is Portland.
