So I am going to the festival this Friday


I just found out they will be broadcasting the show over the internet

Thought I would share the link for those who want to listen

Remember these are PACIFIC times

So I was up till the wee hours of the morning on Friday getting all the camping gear ready and packing the car.

After a couple hours sleep and a shower we were ready!


I had bought some window paints at Michaels the day before, and we added some last touches to the Subaru before we took off...






Imanni thought painting the Subaru was the coolest thing ever... see his contribution deh...




and we were off...




Across the bay... for those who don't like bridges, this is not the one...

The Richmond Bridge is freaky, you can see the water below through the cracks







We made it across, and drove north about 100 miles...


Soon enough we were there!

We follow the caravan of cars through the gate and around the fairgrounds to the wrist band area.
We ask for Family Camping and are given seperate wrist bands and a Family Camp parking pass

Back around and through the gate, family camp is as close as you can get to the stage with out vending it pays to have children!!



Our timing was great... they direct cars in one by one, and you park in the next available spot... we got first spot in the next line... right next to the gate to the venue!!!

By this time it was about noon, the sun was high in the sky and it was HOT!!

We got the shade tent up, and hung some sarongs... aaahhhh shade!



Imanni is all over the place, and having a good time...








Daddy and I are workin our butts off in the heat, and my head is starting to pound...

The heat is not helping my headache, and I try to relax in the shade for a minute...
We can hear the DJ start up the music.
Daddy helps set up the rest of camp and I decide to chill and drink a Red Stripe...

All of a sudden clouds started to roll in


The temperature droped 10 degrees in 30 minutes...






And then the rain started to fall...




It came down pretty hard for 3-5 minutes... Imanni was goin nuts he loved it, and so did I!!








It cooled down the place, and then the rainbow came out
