When we were choosing the book for the book club someone who had read it already said it was condescending to women as Bella whole life is Edward and he has to continually save her. Her only role is damsel in distress and she want to give up everything just to be with him. First of all I say the Bella character is 17 and I think that was true of how a 17yr old would behave and since I was caught up in the fantasy of it I don't think I was looking at it through "regular relationship" eyes cause its clearly not. So it didn't bother me. Then they say Edward too perfect and the girls obssess wid the book will never find a man to fulfill the fantasy. I say thats stupid on a whole lot of levels, the major one being the man is a VAMPIRE that is the appeal/intrigue/perfection!

The movie should be the only the first one but you know what they say bout creative license so I can't be sure, but to please her fans I don't think they would stray into the second.

What about it appealed to you most?

Ha! we nuh discuss the book yet di meeting end a month, is just one girl say that but I see some of the same thing on Amazon when I read people reviews. DO NOT read the reviews until after you read each book as di people dem chat out every story line possible. The part about her so willing to give up her life, once again I think of her being really young so you don't really grasp what it would mean. Plus its true LOVE!

I hope you don't fail cause even though book two is very transitionary (its still a good read) I think I read it even faster so I could get to book 3!! Mi sorry fi you and school, you better put it down an go study.

I cannot tell you about any story line except to say BIG BIG BIG tings happen!

You done it already?? Bwoy yu read it even faster than me. Yes join the club with all those who Bella start get pon dem nerves, she definitely was annoying and whiney and you kept thinking why either of them like her so much.

Well you should rest your eyes for a week or for how long you can stand it cause book 3 gets off to a fast pace and you not going to want to put it down either. I will say that there is lots of Jacob and Edward in book 3 and that makes it all the worthwhile. She writes they dynamic between them really well.

Yes, I am a fast reader. Finished the books within a few hrs.

since mi done #2 mi been working on mi assignment dem weh due tuesday...so i should free up by midday tomorrow
