yea i been hearing that he is maybe 'the greatest rapper alive' but i was around when guys like rakim, slick rick, tupac, biggie, nas, wu-tang were putting it down;
i have yet to hear anything as lyrically deep and profound from these new era guys;
'i'm a young money millionaire
tougher than nigerian hair'-
sorry that's not my idea of great lyrics; i give him props on being so big but i just never felt him...
i'd quicker listen to the game or lupe fiasco than weezy </div></div>
I'm used those emcees too wu-tang, common, dead prez, talib, mos def... dats just it. Listen to "i feel like dying" or "hip hop is not dead". There are not a lot of lyrically profound rappers left, but I'm telling you give Wayne a good (unbiased) listen...you will be surprised.
