Bob Marley was not "black" therefor he is not to be respected by black people.... him "sell out" to a inferior race

it's strange that you get that impression, because a lot of blu's posts are very critical of black folks. your perception may be based on other things besides what blu posts, don't you think?

actually i meant that his statements, wen read WITH comprehension and in context, could afford good discussions...however,there r some whose latent insecurities, make them read black an white an respond due to their hangups as opposed to reading wat he is trying to bring out....

'the special knowledge or interest' could be because of the individual's developed thinking an reasoning capabilities...the sort of thing that makes a Carver develop peanut butter despite wat was expected from and of him....

Evan you have a point. Blu brings out some issues that need to be addressed and would lead to a good discussion.

But most of the time he presents it in the wrong way, or adds some childish statement that either makes the whole post a joke worthy a good laugh, or vexes people with blatant idiocity.

Meanwhile a good reasonin session get wasted.

You know, I was on the bus this evening when my mind ran across this thread. I remembered the lashing Rita got(on this very board) when she made the claim that during her marriage Marley raped her. Why would she lie now, what would there be to gain?
