What are the best concerts you've ever attended

My list,

Janet Jackson ( had to see her twice) Loved her dancing, her sets were awsome [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img] many wardrobe changes. She's a great entertainer and had the audiences young and older dancing and singing along with her. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img]

New Edition ( saw them more than twice) Ralph, Bobby, Ricky,Mike, Ronnie Dancing and vocals, band were very tight. Wardrobe changes were nice, I've never heard so many girls screaming in all my life. Very professional. Energy was wayyyyy up there. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img] * Ralph actually slipped on set and the group teased him. New Edition minus Bobby Brown adding Johnny Gill. Still amazing Johnny's voice is very strong and powerful. They gave Johnny a solo, he sounded so good and took so long the group had to take over the song again as a group. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/dance01.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/dance01.gif[/img]


Howard Hewitt , vocals were so clear and the guy can sing anything live enough women were screaming and fanning themselves. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] Not to much of a dancer but who cared . [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/breakdance.gif[/img]

Levert, ( saw them more than once) vocals were on point women like to have lost their ever loving mind over this group especially when Gerald would come out into the audience. Band was wicked. * I miss Gerald [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70361-embarassed.gif[/img]

The Ojay's moves were so smooth vocals, band very entertaining ladies love them [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] The best

The Whispers I would put them in the same catergory as The O'jay's as a group you can tell they really do have fun on stage.Vocals, moves and band were tight.

Bobby Brown, no one could touch him and his boys in dancing. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/discosmilie.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/discosmilie.gif[/img] Songs were fun and he was sexy back then, girls screaming and crying. Sexy moves I do remember a bed scence on set [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif[/img] coff coff He loves to change his wardrobe very often. LSG, Levert, Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill, everybody had the women screaming, bands were hot. Didn't like Keith Sweat at all I closed my eyes for a second and actually fell asleep with all that whining and women screaming. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

Kool and The Gang [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] Loved this group vocals were very good the band [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img] had everybody feeling good. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img]

BBD,' Bell, Bivens, Devo " Ricky, Mike, Ronnie from New Edition hip hop smoothed out with an R@B tip appeal to it. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] The time was six oclock on the swatch watch no time to chill got a date heyyyyy the girlie's gonna do me [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/discosmilie.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/discosmilie.gif[/img] again girls screaming, dancing was out of this world. Al. B Sure lord, when he came onstage trying to sing with his cracky voice Maryland and DC was not kind to him at all. enoe one of the best concerts I ever attended was The Blind Boys of Alabama free in Central Park..those blind, older men got of the stage and performed all the way to the back of the crowd..never seen anyting like it...

Israel Vibrations w/Apple Dread...awesome
Everton Blender's first show in the states
Jesus and Mary Chain..they played with their back to the audience the entire time.. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek2.gif[/img] guitars had to be against the speakers to produce the feedback sound
Flipper..(she's a sex bomb baby...yeah)

Rick James and Tina Marie in concert when "Fire and Desire" was on fire on the charts. They kissed each other so deeply on stage their toes must have felt each others tounges! Steel Pulse's first US appearance when Grizzly was stil touring with them. All I can say is wow. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]

<span style="color: #3333FF">Irie Jamboree. It was such a nice day. The concert started early in the afternoon and continued until night. Sanchez, Barrington Levy, Elephant Man( [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/vomit.gif[/img] ), Beenie Man, Sizzla, Damien Marley.

I went to VP's 25th anniversary concert, it wasn't great.

Went to a nice one with Buju and Wayne Wonder but my seats weren't great.

Reeeeaaaaallly nice one was Buju at BB King's. Hang on, I get emotional every time I think of that one. Okay, I'm back. I need a "hand on the forehead" emoticon. </span>

I can remember one of my aunt's complaining about Tina saying half of the time she was a no show when she had a concert. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img] But when she did show up it was a hot show. I've always loved her voice but the last CD's were flops.

The rule is the same that I gave Bandi, [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70388-shameonyou.gif[/img] what on earth did you listen to before Reggae? I'm sure there was a Whispers show or something before you started listening to Reggae.

I've only been to two non-reggae concerts. One doesn't really count, it was one of those pre-circus events, Janet Jackson lip-synced "Control" and one of her other songs. Probably "Nasty Boys".
