Thanks DD but the version I am trying to find is done by a Boy's Choir whose name completely alludes me. I am going thru youtube to find them but no luck so far

I do have this version of the Little Drummer Boy as well

This is one of the best rendition I can find on Utube, although the video is blurry...remember when I had to sing this from the (music) score in Undergrad....if yuh want credits <span style="font-style: italic">

loved this one to skells, sang it in high school choir chrismas concert one year, i was alto.

back in the days of napster i downloaded about 15 renditions of Carol of the Bells (apparently known also as the Ukranian Bell Carol), from traditional to contemporary and developed a particular fondness of this overblown, melodramatic instrumental rock version by the TransSiberian Orchestra, especially the way the electric guitars wail at the end. here it is set to harry potter images (it seems to be a favroite soundtrack for fantasists). it seems to be a signature song for TSO also, nuff live versions, look like dem play it wheter is chrismas or not.:

I sang alto too! But honestly i felt that I should have been placed in second soprano... We were supposed to do it one Xmas but our choir mistress did not feel that we were well rehearsed so we dropped it from the program. The version from Home Alone is my fave

yes, the arrangement for choir can be complex - and so beautiful when it all comes together. it has to be the most covered xmas song. i remember versions by destiny's child and harlem boys' choir among my downloads.
