LOl !,..you do know that when I refered to the young mas as maybe jesus`s boyfriend,I was saying it with tongue firmly in cheek right..?

Anyway,I think the passage was used,and is often used, to suggest that maybe jesus had a little &quot;friend&quot; keeping him warm inbetween all those boring saving souls and raising dead chores he performed.
Ofcourse,maybe as you suggests,it may have been something totally innocent why the geezer is going around commando style under his linen cloth,....maybe he was simply coming back from a gay parade, saw jesus with 12 other geezers and thought they too were part of the parade and decided to join them,when the soldiers grabbed his linen cloth he obviously thought they were a bunch of other drunken gays in fancy dress who were playing a bit too rough and decided to skedawdle outa there pronto.

considering that many cultures and mythic systems have ritual initiations involving the shedding of the previous life, which may include clothes, or baptisms and such...it's easy to see how people might read into in a wink wink nudge nudge what secret mark discusses.

i think it's definitely an interesting discussion but that most people aren't actually discussing it lol.
