And to be fair you'll get the same percentage of the Taino reparations as the percentage of Taino in your genetic make up. </div></div>All joking aside (and the fact that the thread is about black people getting reparations), why shouldn't descendants of Taino, Navajo, Mayans, Aborigenes, etc. get reparations from Britain, Spain, etc. for genocide, displacement, land grabbing, and other crimes against humanity?

In a just world we wouldn't need reparations but we have a bit of civilizing to do before we are smart enough and moral enough to start treating people as we would like to be treated.

Capitalism and theism need to go away for both things to happen.

Slave owners rarely freed the children they procreated with slave women, so percentage of African heritage seems irrelevant. Cops don't look to see if someone is biracial when stopping them for DWB.
