I missed him last week but saw him last night. It was such great tv imho. He had two problems, and didnt solve either one... but somehow that made his personality seem even more astounding.
The first couple had this 60 lb mix that was scary. It snapped and bit the people that cared for it. And it lives in a small cage in the house. Cesar comes and with amazing (to me) courage and patience calms the dog over a few hours 95%. But he doesn't feel he has solved the problem completely. He says the dog needs to come to his yard and get socialized around dogs that know how to live with people. AND he brings the couple a similar sized dog that is well trained so the couple will know what a good dogs is like. However, the couple falls for that dog Sasha in the three weeks Cesar has their dog in rehab, and when he brings back their dog, all waggy and friendly now, they can't get over the backup dog Cesar brought them.
The couple couldnt relax around their rehabilitated dog, but Sasha had been promised to someone else, so Cesar gave them a <span style="font-style: italic">third</span> dog, that they love now, and Cesar took the original angry dog back to his yard.
The point that I took away from the episode was that Cesar Millan made none of the dogs wrong... or the people. Cesar made it work out well for all concerned, just like any intelligent Alpha would.
