I have been watching my mothers dog have to get used to a crate after being a rescue and mom wouldn't use one. Well, then mom ended up in the hospital and a nursing home and poor Molly had a real hard time getting used to being crated while her caretaker goes to work. She is doing Ok now though!
They love their dens/crates. I tell my kids to "get in your box" and they go running inside, all excited but they get a cookie every single time too!
