My kid's riding school is fairly large. It runs camps in summer. There's pets and wild animals (well, mainly birds) out and about the school.

i call them burritos. they're lickle donkeys. very curious. i think they're used for the summer camps.

vagas. one of the first horses my daughter rode about 3 yrs ago. had this cute habit of bowing and stretching out a front leg if he wanted a treat. hated at first by my daughter cause she thought he was ugly, but she grew to love him.

luke in the middle of being groomed by my kid. a very nervous horse, used to be a great show horse but his better days are behind him.

luke and my kid after the schooling show on Sunday. they got a 3rd out of 11 in the 6-jump class and 6th place in the walk-trot-canter-1jump class. luke was very skittery and my kid had a hard time keeping him calm. he was good with the jumps, though.

What fun photos MGee! I wondered how Potsie was doing with his foot. They an take a very long time to heal.
Your daughter is beautiful and doing well! Kudo's to her and to you for letting her live this dream.
Vagas is booful, I love me an Appaloosa! Bucko was a Appaloosa and quarter horse. he had spots but they weren't very visible because he didn't have a blanket. I had a mare that looked a lot like Vagas. Appy's don't have the nicest heads but they have a LOT of heart!

Thanks, Nan, for ur kind words about my daughter. she likes riding horses, and i was trying to push her into making a bigger commitment - like going into it competitively after high school, but she will not be pushed. just as well, i couldn't afford it, lol.
my dawta swears she's going to ride vagas in the next show - she gave luke two chances and she's ready to move on.
i remember bucko's spots on his backside! hope ur not missing him too much. ((nan))Comment

Thanks, Hadiah. She was happy that the horse came thru for the jumps, and she loves him despite his idiosyncrasies. im nearly fling har off the day before.Comment

thanks, stormmey. believe it or not potsi has looked and acted worse in pain, so i'm just going to go ahead and assume he's getting lots better.
my daughter's looks have long drawn attention from others at the school from early dem a ask me if she gwine model, caw she look good in har breeches.
if i could afford it i would make her part board a horse, but right now it's not doable. some day, though.
