When I was picking up Flip last week, I saw this little cutie. She is one year old (same as Flip) and only weighs 6 lbs.





Told the lady I'd be back next month for her when she is 'ready'. Her temp name is Ouimsey (as in whimsey) but I'm thinking of Keisha -KiKi for short. Flip needs a companion.

I'm with you on thinking your Flip's coat could change with getting proper diet and things.

The little one is more my type of pup - so tiny (and curly as my son would say)

Flip will see the vet on Friday, so hopefully we will have more answers then (on her breed/mix possibilities)

Don't know if it is worth it to you or not, but they have dog DNA tests now that can tell you exactly what she is.

Ok...so vet thinks Flip is part P-o-m and part Am Eskimo dog... health is good but although she had been dewormed, they found Giardia so she is now on that treatment - let the center know, and they are treating all the dogs now to cover the Giardia


That may be one of the reasons Flip is a little underweight, so should start gaining shortly.

Oh yes - she's turning into an excellent little watchdog - scared a skunk out of the yard last night and scared the krapola out of a rather humongous (25-30 lbs) raccoon (twice) on Sunday!

Great the vet was able to pinpoint the gardia so you can treat her! Looking forward to seeing how she turns out all grown out. I'd think her hair would be thicker but time will tell!

Too funny about the critters. That's does point to a husky type breed!

Yeah, it was so funny to look out the window and see the white of the skunks tail heading out the gateway... and every time Flip barked, the raccoon would jump (too bad my camera wasn't closer -would have been a great shot as it was only about 8 ft away, albeit it was in the tree); I tried to knock it down by shaking one of the branches, but their little fingers hold on pretty tight -and it kept climbing up higher!)

Skunk came back later but it was obvious that it was avoiding coming down our pathway

Should be fun tonight - garbage night!

Unfortunately - even though I 'spoke' for the second little one - it looks like Michelle sold her before letting me know she was ready for adoption (she told me mid-August)... if so... this one below just came in!






(I don't know how she comes up with names - as they just don't cut it for me) How can anyone look at a male dog and call it Trinket??
